Contact Us

This site sells no tickets and books no groups. Every walk listed here, the 4 GuruWalk tours and the one freetour.com exclusive from I'm Free Tours, is run by an independent guide, and sign-up happens on the platform page itself. One email address is kept and read.

Corrections matter more here than on most travel sites. Melbourne's free-entry rules shift often: a museum can drop a free gallery, a garden can start charging for a building inside it, and a guide can move a meeting point from Federation Square to somewhere else entirely. A short note telling us what changed saves the next reader a wasted trip across the city. We would rather hear about a small error than let it sit on a page.

After You Write

Repairs go first. A wrong meeting point can send someone to the wrong corner of the CBD, and a wrong free-entry claim can cost a visitor their one free afternoon in Melbourne, so those fixes jump the queue. Factual corrections about venues come next, then anything cosmetic. If your note needs a reply, expect a short one, and if it only needs a fix, the fix itself is the reply.

Where Bookings Happen

This website never takes a booking, holds a seat or takes a payment of any kind. All five walks belong to the guides who run them, four on GuruWalk and one, the Melbourne Sights Free Tour by I'm Free Tours, on freetour.com. Sign-up happens on the platform, the guide confirms, and money, if any, changes hands on the day, pay-what-you-want. Nothing in that chain passes through this site.

Once you sign up, the confirmation email from the platform is the record that matters. It carries the meeting point, the guide's name and the cancellation terms, and it is what you show up with. This contact page cannot resend it, change it or look it up. If a confirmation never arrives, the platform's own help channel is where that gets sorted.

Meeting points and cancellation rules are set by each guide, not by this site. Three of the CBD walks gather at or near Federation Square, the Southbank walk starts by the Yarra, and the freetour.com tour meets at the State Library, but the guide's own instructions on the platform page always win. If a guide moves a start time or cancels for weather, this site will not always know.

Waiting on a reply is not the only option. The tour zones page sorts the walks by area, and guides covers who runs each one, both usually faster than email.
